Is Your Co-Founder Relationship Slowing the Company Down?
CO-FOUNDER & PARTNERSHIP DYNAMICS
When the Same Disagreements Keep Coming Back.
A conversation about hiring becomes another argument about who has the final say. Decisions you thought were settled come back onto the table.
You may still respect what your partner brings to the business. Yet raising a concern takes preparation because you already anticipate the response.
The tension starts shaping how you work together, and eventually it ripples into the company. You avoid certain topics or make decisions alone to keep things moving, and employees end up with conflicting instructions. Time that should go toward running the business gets spent revisiting the last disagreement.
Co-founder coaching creates a structured setting to examine these patterns and reach clearer agreements about how you work together. Partners also use it to revisit expectations as the company grows and roles shift.
What Is Co-Founder Coaching?
Co-founder coaching is structured work on the relationship between the people running a business together. We look at how you make decisions, where disagreements stall, and what each of you expects from the other and from the company.
I work with startup founders, partners in established businesses, and executive pairs such as a CEO and COO. Some use the work to strengthen the partnership, and some use it to decide whether to continue together. It runs through Mycelia Coaching under its own agreement, separate from therapy.
